Section 14 of Industrial Disputes Act 1947

Duties of Court

It provides that the Court shall report to the appropriate Government ordinarily within 6 months from the commencement of the inquiry relating to any matters referred to it. 

Illustration

A matter was referred to the Court on 1st June 2019. The inquiry commenced on 1st July 2019. In this scenario, the Court shall ordinarily submit the report to the appropriate Government within 31st December 2019.
