Telangana High Court Introduces ‘Mobile VC Facility’ to Assist the Appearance of Lawyers from Remote Areas

The CJ of the Telangana HC inaugurated the “Mobile Video Conference Facility”. It was introduced to assist the appearance of lawyers from remote locations.


On account of a spike in Covid-19 cases, all the Courts have been taking up only urgent matters through VC. However, some of the Advocates have been expressing difficulty in participating in VC. To facilitate Advocates, the Court had introduced the concept of “Mobile Video Conference Facility” as they do not have access to the Virtual Courts.

Declaration of the Court

The Court made the declaration on Monday at 10:00 am. The CJ of Telangana HC inaugurated it in the presence of the Administrative Judge of the Warangal District. The District Collector has provided a mobile van with required infrastructure.

It directed that the mobile van will go to remote places. Through this facility, the Advocates will address the Virtual Court. It will enhance accessibility to the Courts.
