About The Role & What You’ll Do

(i) Draft and review offer terms and conditions and policies for Flipkart group e-commerce platforms in compliance with applicable laws. Review print, social media and other media advertisements and all marketing communications to ensure legal compliance and communications which are sent to the customers and the sellers from a legal perspective.

(ii)  Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, addendum to existing agreements.

(iii) Research and advise business on legal matters including consumer protection laws, privacy laws, legal metrology and FSSAI guidelines, FDI laws, OTT guidelines and other legal developments in the ecommerce sector. Provide regular update to the business on legal and regulatory changes.

(iv) Work with the team and external stakeholders to handle the workload efficiently with quick turn-around requirements.

Requirements

Lawyer with 2 years of PQE or more. The ideal candidate will have a strong contract review and drafting experience with good negotiation skills. Good understanding of Indian law and practices (including intellectual property, commercial, e-commerce, FDI regulations, privacy laws, consumer protection laws, legal metrology and FSSAI laws). The candidate should have strong communication skills, an enthusiastic and reliable worker, show keen interest to understand business and manage quick turnaround times.
