Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Draft, negotiate, review and also provide  business advice on a wide range of material commercial agreements, including, supply of goods and supply of services agreements, distribution and agency agreements, marketing agreements, confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements and standard terms and conditions, lease agreements; vendor agreements etc.;
  • Provide legal support to the business to assist in the execution of corporate strategy;
  • Identify and mitigate potential litigation and compliance risks to the organization which arise from its day to day business operations and collaborating with the Compliance Team in respect of the same;
  • Support India Organization on the Corporate Governance matters;
  • Develop processes, policies and standard documents to ensure effective delivery of support to the local organization;
  • Create and deliver training on key legal & compliance;
  • Ensure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Proactively create and maintain awareness of business for (compliance with) relevant laws and regulations;
  • Handle Disputes;
  • Deliver high-quality work under deadlines; and
  • Support the APAC Legal Team in delivering objectives, in particular, the development of a high quality, responsive and strategically focused legal team.


  • A high-quality commercial lawyer with relevant post-qualification experience (5+ years).
  • Commercial experience gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house.
  • Proven ability to establish a high degree of credibility, respect and trust at all levels.
  • Strong personal communication skills, capable of dealing with a wide range of people.
  • Effective planning and organizing skills to prioritize key areas of responsibility, tasks and projects in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and solve problems analytically.
  • Ability to work independently and accountable for accurate, high quality work product.
  • A strong team player who is both committed and flexible.
