Thane Police Commissionerate is a unique Police Unit. It is perhaps the only one of its kind in India as Thane Police Commissionerate comprises of four Municipal Corporations (Thane, Bhiwandi, Ulhasnagar, and Kalyan-Dombivali) and two Muncipal Councils (AMBARNATH and Badlapur) and a number of small villages.

Thane Police (Commissioner of Police Thane City) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Legal Officer (Vidhi Adhikari) and Legal Officer Group B.

Eligibility
- The candidate must be a Law Graduate of a Recognized University.
- Minimum of Lawyer profession for at least 5 years.
- Candidates should have sufficient knowledge of Marathi, Hindi and English as well as computer skills.
