Job Requirements
Experience in a regulated financial services industry preferably Insurance (Life)
Good knowledge of retail litigation pending in various courts and fora – Consumer Courts, Civil Courts, Insurance Ombudsman, Police Complaints, Arbitration etc
To innovate practicable and feasible ways and means to reduce and mitigate commercial risks involved in litigation.
To manage and administer the day to day proceedings of matters at different stages of litigation, pan India
To provide proactive support and advise to various business verticals on legal issues pertaining to customer complaints and claims
To maintain MIS of Litigation Cases, reporting data as required by IRDAI and other authorities on monthly, quarterly or annual basis
To engage with Advocates for their appointment and regular follow up for cases

Process oriented and flexible
Education & Experience
Graduate in Law
Experience of at least 6 years as an inhouse counsel
Good communication and liaison skills to interact with internal departments
