About the Advocate

Advocate Jeetender Gupta, a first-generation lawyer, is an Advocate-On-Record at the Supreme Court of India, with regular practice since 2011 at the Supreme Court, Delhi High Court, Punjab-Haryana High Court, NCLT, NCDRC, DRT, CCI & District Courts.

The area of specialisation primarily involves handling White Collar Crimes such as economic offences, cyber crimes, issues relating to real estate (property), stock markets etc. Mr. Gupta is a registered mediator on the panel of the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre & often indulges in Arbitration matters. Finally, there is also an engagement in Constitutional matters, very recently involving admission for the Specially Abled through NEET 2019.

About the Internship

The intern(s) would primarily be assigned research work to be completed throughout the Internship. The research would involve questions of Commercial Law, Constitutional Principles & Other Areas of Practice. If need be, the interns shall get an opportunity to inculcate a skill-set for drafting, which may also be utilized through the course of their internship.

Preparing case-briefs, research notes & practical assistance, shall govern the nature of the internship. Accompanying to the court in favourable circumstances shall also help in attaining exposure towards litigation.

Work From Home (Online Internship).

However, the Interns may also accompany at the Courts & Tribunals in Delhi/Gurgaon/Faridabad, subject to the situation & regulations in the context of the Pandemic (COVID-19). The office locations shall be enlisted on the website found below.

Open for all law students (i.e. Upcoming 2nd Year – Post Graduates).

Duration of Internship

At least 1 month (4 weeks). Extensions may be made, on a request or by the employer, on a flexible basis. A shorter internship period (not less than 15 days), may be granted at the discretion of the advocate.

The internship shall, however, be subject to termination with reasons, if the case may be.
