About TechMETLaw:
TechMETlaw is an endeavor by two recent law graduates to build and create business and legal awareness of technology, media, entertainment, telecommunications (TMET) laws, and their interface. We aim to provide the latest updates and fundamentals to TMET enthusiasts to learn, build, connect, and grow in this field. We wish to be accessible to non-law background individuals as well to make them aware of recent developments and encourage cyber and media responsibility.

The Blog aims to serve as a forum for the expression of the authors’ views on various topics of Technology, Media, Entertainment, and Telecommunications Law. We wish to create a resourceful one-stop destination for posts on Technology, Media, Entertainment, and Telecommunications Law while ensuring to provide our readers with quality content.
For maintaining and running this BLOG, TechMETLaw is opening the call for an editorial board. The editorial board would be responsible for managing the official BLOG.

Senior Editor(s):
Who can apply: Any Students/scholars/professors of law having past editorial experience. Prior editorial experience is a necessity to apply for this position.
Associate Editor(s):
Who can apply: Any Students/scholars/professors of law. Prior editorial experience is not a necessary condition to apply but preferred.
Sub-editor (s):
Who can apply: Any Students/scholars/professors of law. Prior editorial experience is not a necessary condition to apply. There will be primarily working under Senior editors and Associate editors.
Research Editor(s):
Who can apply: students/scholars/professors of law having past editorial experience. Prior editorial experience is mandated to apply for this position. The applicant must have strong research skills. Also, must possess strong command over the English language.
Responsibilities:
- Associate Editor(s) and Senior Editor(s) will be tasked primarily with the job of reviewing the article, checking the quality and plagiarism (if any), and prepare the review report on the same. The focus should be given to the grammar as well as the relevance of the article being reviewed as to the present public policy and legal issues.
- The Sub-editor (s), along with assisting Associate Editor(s) and Senior Editor(s) shall also be given the job of sending invites for interviews, article submissions, and promotional activities for social media pages of the blog.
- The Research Editor (s) is going to be responsible for carrying out the research projects undertaken by TechMETLaw. At the completion of each project, a report will be published by TechMETLaw, which will also have the names of the research fellows. This internship is virtual (work from home).
Editorial Board is particular about the deadline given and expects the applicant to adhere to the same while he/she promotes the Journal personally. He/she should not disclose the abstracts/Articles provided to them by the Board for the review.
Duration:
You will be taken as an editor for a 3 to 4-month period. This can be extended depending on the work of the intern.
The internship will start on the 15th of December 2020.
Application Procedure:
Interested students may submit their updated CV along with a cover letter; a writing sample (750 words) to the Journal’s Email Id – techmetlaw@gmail.com before December 15, 2020. The theme of the writing sample must fall within the theme of the blog, which includes technology, media, entertainment, and telecom laws.
We will be reviewing the applications till then; however, it is preferred that the application be sent sooner rather than waiting till the deadline.
Cover Letter should include your undertaking to the Editorial Board that the Article(s) sent to Associate Editor for the review will be kept confidential and not be sourced to any person/authority which may infringe the copyright of the Journal/Article.
