About The Speaker
Hon’ble Mr. Sankar Sen is the President of the Association of Retired Senior Indian Police
Service Officers. Sir has served as the Additional Director General of the Border Security
Force, Director General of NHRC and Director of the National Police Academy at Hyderabad
during the 60 years of his service to the nation.
He has coordinated research project on Trafficking in Women and Children in India and
written several columns on the issue of Corruption in the country. Sir is the author of many
renowned books such as Police Today, Human Rights in a Developing Society, Tryst with
Law Enforcement and Human Rights, etc.
