About the Webinar

Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University is organizing an International Webinar on topic ‘A Guide to Dispute Resolution Processes’, on 26th June 2020 at 2:00 PM IST.

This webinar will seek to accommodate both internal and external participants to make this platform available all around the globe through an integrated discussion on Dispute Resolution Processes, its types, reasons for ADR, the approaches to, and drivers of behaviour in ADR.

It would also ensure that the participants get the opportunity to put forth their questions and discuss them with the speaker.

About the Speaker

Mr. David Boyle, Barrister, Deans Court Chambers, Manchester, England, has a thriving practice across a broad spectrum of complex, high value, high profile and unusual multi trach claims.

He was the Head of Mini-Pupillage at Deans Court from 2010 to 2016, and was, in 2019, the first Personal Injury barrister ever appointed to the Bar Standards Board’s Associated Pool of Experts (APEX), advising the BSB as to the appropriate conduct of
barristers practicing in civil law.

He is regularly instructed to appear at Joint Settlement Meetings and Mediations as well as trials, accepts instructions on a CFA or privately paid basis, is in demand giving seminars on all aspects of personal injury law, has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Durham, Lancaster University, Liverpool John Moores University, and the College of Law.

His books, On Experts (2016), An Introduction To Personal Injury Law (2017), and The Mini-Pupillage Workbook (2019). He is currently working on his fourth (Covid-19 and Personal Injury Law), fifth (Case Management) and sixth (Forensic Thinking) books simultaneously, which might explain why his publishers are still waiting.
