Speaker Session on “Caste system and its effect on Free markets in India”.
In a country progressively inching towards the ideals of libertarianism the need to conceptualize the core characteristics of the same within its socio-cultural context becomes relevant. In pursuit of this objective, we bring to you a conversation on Indianizing libertarianism in the context of an inherently caste-based differentiated society.

About the Speaker
Mr. Shyam Babu is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi and also serves as a key advisor to the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI). He is a research affiliate for CASI’s Dalit research program.
