About Daksh
Daksh intends to bring politics closer to people by means of research, awareness drives and partnering with like-minded groups. Daksh is engaged to bring together politics and people while exploring popular perceptions of their political representatives and establish ways of people’s participation in asserting accountability in governance.
About the Lecture
Daksh is organizing its Ninth Constitution Day Lecture on “Indian Federalism: The Journey So Far”, which will be delivered online by Mr. Bibek Debroy.

About the Speaker
Mr. Bibek Debroy is an economist and is currently the Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) and the President of the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI).
He has authored/edited several books, papers and popular articles and has also been a Consulting/Contributing Editor with several newspapers. He was awarded the Shriram Sanlam Award for Financial Journalism in 2013, and the Padma Shri in 2015.
