Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is the time tested legal institution of par excellence. It is the national hub of legal studies. Since its inception in 1924, the department has been a leader in producing many legal luminaries, Supreme Court and High Court judges, leading advocates, political leaders, policy makers and trend-setters in all walks of life. With the unparalleled expertise of faculty members, multicultural environment and its seat at the heart of the national capital, the department attracts brilliant students from all over the country and abroad. The department has more than 130 teachers and about 7000 students at present including LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. students but functions within limited resources.

About the Delhi Law Review (Student Edition):

The Delhi Law Review (Student Edition) is an annual, double-blind, student-reviewed and edited journal. It was introduced with the objective of involving students in promoting academic research and facilitating debate on contemporary legal issues in India. The journal assumes an inter-disciplinary orientation and is wide enough to include national and international legal and policy-based issues within its sweep. As of 2020, seven volumes of the journal have been made available online which can be accessed on the Faculty of Law website: Delhi Law Review (Student Edition).

Types of Submissions

Volume VIII of the journal invites original and unpublished manuscripts from all academicians, authors, legal professionals and students from India and abroad in the following categories:

A.  Long Articles (6,500-8,500 words)
B.  Essays/Short Articles (3,500-6,000 words)
C.  Case Notes and Legislative Comments (1,500-2,500 words)
D.  Book Reviews (1,000-1,500 words)

Note: The prescribed word limits are inclusive of footnotes and exclusive of abstract.

Deadline for submissions is 1 November 2020, 11:59 p.m. IST
