About the Workshop

‘Necessity is the Mother of all Inventions’ the systematic change that the Globe is passing through changed the conduct of life. Intellectual Property became the strong pillar of the modern society, which engulfs in its ambit the research and development of large multinational companies, budding entrepreneurs, literary and artistic works, designs, marks, images, names etc., emitting from human intelligence.

To reap the fruits of higher economic growth of a nation where the economy flourishes because of Intellectual Property, there is an imminent necessity to Promote, Protect and Realize the Intellectual Property, by creating awareness about the rights of the people over their intellectual creation. The contours of law too have undergone tremendous evolution from physical systems to digitization of governance and order.

This National Virtual Workshop creates a platform where the seeds are sworn to identify and protect one’s intellectual efforts. The Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights and Innovations covers various aspects of Intellectual Property Rights like Patents, Copyrights, Designs, Trademarks and Geographical Indications.

Objective of the Workshop

The National Virtual Workshop aims to provide in-depth knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights. Though the growth of the economic market is driven by Intellectual Property, the lack of awareness on the Intellectual Property Rights has been a challenge in furthering economic growth.

To face these challenges, it is important to rekindle the intelligence of the human brain to involve in innovations, thus creating Intellectual Property.
