Calcutta High Court: Appropriate Authority to Decide on Whether “Paatal Lok” Is Defamatory

The Court held that Respondent No. 8 should decide the case. The 8th respondent’s issues as presented were open ended, and are competent to decide the matter following the law.

Moreover, the respondent has four weeks to decide the same. The decision is to be based on merit.
