Job Profile:
- Provide strong legal support to the aircraft acquisition and financing, treasury, banking and other internal teams on business operations and activities of the Company.
- Provide effective legal support to the team for drafting and negotiation of various principal agreements as required (including for aircraft acquisition, financing both fund and non-fund based, various contracts related to acquisition of assets, product purchase contracts, treasury functions, banking contracts, coordinating closing of related transactions etc.)
- Provide support on cross functional work from time to time as may be required.
- Assist in closing relevant deals and transactions in relation to business operations.
- Ensure that business decisions are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal policies and rules.
Candidate Specifications:
- The candidate should have an excellent academic background with a Law degree from a reputable university.
- The candidate should be qualified in India with a minimum of 5+ years and maximum of 8 years post-qualification experience in corporate commercial law either in private practice or in-house, with exposure to cross border work including in M&A, investment (strategic and financial), general corporate advisory and banking and finance.
- The candidate must have excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills and should be willing to work across multiple time zones.
- The candidate will be working closely with senior business colleagues and should demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a business set-up and have a solution centric approach.
- Should be proactive, self-starter, detail oriented, keen on understanding the business and happy to push boundaries
