Job Post: Manager – Legal at MicroLand, Bengaluru

1. Build an effective compliance framework to ensure adherence/compliance by the business of the various laws, regulations, taxes, rules, licences etc across geographies Being the SPOC for Modulo or any other R&C tool to capture the compliance requirements under various laws and contracts on an ongoing basis Responsible for remedial actions based on legal compliance risks identified in the R&C tool like Modulo
2. Review of existing business practices including employee-related matters and ensuring compliance in all geographies
3. Setting up a network of legal consultants in various geographies for various compliances for liaising with law firms as and when needed;
4. Support for the establishment of new branches and subsidiaries
5. Support for legal support on Immigration, IP and non-contract compliance matters
6. Providing advisory support on all regulatory issues impacting the interests of the business and driving a pro-active regulatory compliance approach;
7. Continual compliance risk assessment of company practices together with the development of internal policies and procedures;
8. Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry initiatives and advise ML Legal Head and CFO on a periodical basis.
