The rapid increase of COVID-19 cases has led to the suspension of activities. The Court issued a notification No 1928- on 9th of July 2020. The notification is in relation to the suspension of activities from the 10th of July 2020 to 13th of July 2020. There are new contaminated zones declared in the area around the High Court. This suspension is for sanitation of the three Buildings of the Calcutta High Court.
The Court ordered to extend the suspension until 19th of July owing to the increase of cases. Thus, all the activities stand suspended till 19th July 2020.
