The Petitioner had challenged an order passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate, Saket Courts, Delhi, under section 482 of CrPC, which granted bail to two accused and exempted the other accused from appearance.

This Petition was filed under section 482 of CrPC against an order which affirmed a decision passed by the Metropolitan Magistrate, Mahila Court directing the Petitioner to pay a sum of “Sixteen thousand five hundred” Indian Rupees as interim maintenance to the Respondent (his wife) under Section 23 of Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act,2005 (hereinafter “DV” Act).

This batch of appeals was filed against the Order allowing Action Committee Unaided Recognized Private Schools’ challenge to a circular.
