Bombay HC Stays Order Permitting Operations of Temporary Slaughter Houses; Says Order Is Illegal and Arbitrary
The Bombay High Court held that the order of Bhiwandi Municipal Commissioner permitting the operations of temporary slaughterhouses was illegal and arbitrary. The Court stated that slaughtering of animals can only take place in licensed slaughterhouses.
