Kerala High Court: Custody in multiple spells for the same crime makes accused eligible for “default bail”

The Kerala High Court ruled that "default bail" can be claimed under Section 167 of the CrPC when the required period in judicial custody is satisfied over multiple spells, provided the custody is for the same alleged offence.
