Section 32 of Industrial Disputes Act 1947

Offence by companies, etc.

It provides that in case the person committing any default under the section is a company, or other body corporate, or an association of persons, then in such case, every director, manager, secretary, agent or other officer or person concerned with the management shall be deemed to be guilty of such offence unless the person proves that the offence was committed without his knowledge or consent. 

Illustration

A company is in default of a provision under this section. in this scenario, the directors, managers, secretary, agent or other officer or person associated with the company shall be responsible, until the person shows that the offence was committed without his knowledge or consent.
