Responsibilities:
- Partnering closely with Leadership team to develop and maintain delivery of effective Legal services to the India business
- Providing legal advice, stewardship and governance to our business on strategic initiatives, partnerships and various growth and profitability initiatives
- Drafting, negotiating and obtaining agreement to commercial contracts ensuring that operational/commercial risks are fully understood and minimized
- Managing Legal budget to achieve maximum cost efficiencies, including minimizing use of outside counsel
- Acting as a trusted advisor to management to provide support for assisting in important decision making
Requirements:
- Have Bachelor’s from an accredited university or college.
- Have a minimum of 8 additional years of experience in commercial contracts / legal operations
- Be able to demonstrate professional experience in Commercial Counsels
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers
- Be rigorous in approach, solutions focused, and committed to quality of advice
- Have experience in end-to-end contract and commercial management for products, services and projects
