Job Description:
-Learn about new jurisdictions and how it impacts operations with existing entities
-Identifying risks and issues, and suggesting alternatives
-Advise on how legal Intersects with tax in different jurisdictions
-Ensuring due diligence of properties to support the business expansion plan
-Ensuring all compliance processes (Labor, Regulatory, Intellectual property, etc. ) as applicable
-Contract Management (proper documentation and up keeping of all agreements, contracts and their renewals on time)
-Vetting, drafting, negotiating, maintaining, assessing and renewing global framework agreements with key business:
– New company formation in new jurisdictions
– Explore regulatory in multiple jurisdictions
– Contracts – Vendor/HR/Lease
– Investment term sheets
– Customer contracts – from multiple jurisdictions to multiple jurisdictions
– Intellectual property
• Partnering with business for support on day-to-day basis
• Preparing and conducting training on various legal and compliance matters
• Drafting, implementation & training for SOPs and policies within the company
• Acting as Admin for internal compliance management system
• Engaging and managing of external legal counsel:
– Dispute Management including litigation management
– Conducting and following civil and criminal action against Intellectual Property infringement.
