Position: Associate Legal Counsel
Location: Chennai/Mumbai (preferred)
Role Details:
This position will be responsible to provide sound legal advice, contribute to the analysis of
commercial/corporate issues and identify and mitigate legal risks related to the company’s insurance, service warranty and supply chain activities in India. This role will work closely with the business units to structure, draft and negotiate legal arrangements, implement the compliance program, support the corporate governance function (board, shareholder meetings) and solve regulatory matters. Also conduct due diligence, including reporting and review management, assess risks associated with business processes, operational methods, complies and assists compliance and secretarial related requirements and works along with regional and global team to implement various policies and procedures. This is an individual contributor role.
Experience: 7-10 years post qualifications preferably from insurance, service warranty, supply chain management industry
Education: must have 5 years integrated law degree from reputed national law school/universities.
