Students for Liberty (SFL) is an international libertarian non-profit organization (with origins in the United States) whose stated mission is “to educate, develop, and empower the next generation of leaders of liberty.

About the Event

Speaker Session on “Caste system and its effect on Free markets in India”.

In a country progressively inching towards the ideals of libertarianism the need to conceptualize the core characteristics of the same within its socio-cultural context becomes relevant. In pursuit of this objective, we bring to you a conversation on Indianizing libertarianism in the context of an inherently caste-based differentiated society.

About the Speaker

Mr. Shyam Babu is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research in New Delhi and also serves as a key advisor to the Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI). He is a research affiliate for CASI’s Dalit research program.
