About the Webinar

  • Have you ever wondered about the time when cannabis was not under the radar of state control? What!! Did that surprise you?
  • Well, think about it: Why is it that Cannabis is banned, yet not fully banned across the country?
  • How is it that we celebrate our festivals with oozes of Bhang, yet the consumption, sale or purchase or weed or hash for other recreational purposes is banned?
  • Would you support ending this war by the state against drugs?
  • But how would you vouch for the human rights and health of the drug users in the face of police brutality and corruption, licensed by laws criminalizing drug use?
  • Does the possibility of misuse or overdose of drugs by minors invalidate state overreach and restrictions on right to choose as adversaries?
  • What possibly could be the motivation for a state to let black markets for drugs flourish, when it can actually regulate and tax the trade, thus generating resources for itself and leaving consumers better off?

Well, we have the answers to all your questions and a guide that allows to reason your arguments for the legalization movement. Join us for the Expert Class with Suchitra Rajagopalan, where you get to interact with her to understand the nuances of drug use and its acceptance in societies.
