About the Organisations

NIPO is an umbrella initiative destined to put India on the map of intellectual superpowers. NIPO’s mandate includes inter alia helping & assisting individuals & organizations in capacity building through interactions with other organizations in India and abroad which are active in this field.

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is one of the apex trade associations of India. It derives its strength from its Promoter Chambers and other Industry/Regional Chambers/Associations spread all over the country. ASSOCHAM is proactively working towards creating a conducive environment for Indian businesses to compete globally.

About the Event

Drawing from their vast practical experience, the panelists will discuss the latest global developments related to Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and their licensing under fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms which have been a subject of debate in the global IP market in recent years.

The panel shall highlight some of the important outcomes of the recent judgments made in the European Union, China and the US.
