About the Webinar
Law Audience is organising a webinar on 19th August from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Theme: Writs (Theory and Practice).
The webinar will be covering the theory and practice related to the Writ jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and High Court. It will cover the essentials of a writ petition as well as the theoretical aspects concerning the same.
Eligibility
It shall be an online event.
It is open for Students, Lawyers, Research Scholars, Teachers, Judges, Professionals and Academicians or for anyone who is interested in the topic of the Webinar.
About the Speakers
Assistant Professor Ayushi Negi, APG, Shimla University
Ms. Ayushi Negi is currently working as an Assistant Professor at AP Goyal, Shimla University. She did her Bsc from Miranda House University of Delhi and after that she did her LLB from Campus law Centre, University of Delhi and then completed her LLM from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, with specialization in Environmental law. She also clerked under Justice Ajay Mohan Goel of High Court of Himachal Pradesh for a year.
Advocate Yashaswi SK Chocksey, Supreme Court of India & High Courts
He is Founder Partner, SK Law Chambers. An Advocate practising in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and High Courts dealing extensively with civil as well as criminal litigation. He has been actively involved in the enhancement of prison rights in the country and has argued Public Interest Litigation (PIL) for the same before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
Note: Assistant Professor Ayushi Negi will be dealing with the theoretical aspects of writs and Advocate Yashaswi SK Chocksey will be dealing with practical aspects of writs.

The registration link will be closed at 09:00 AM on 19th of August 2020 or earlier (if they receive the maximum participants allowed limit for the zoom meeting. In that case you can fill up the YouTube Registration Form).

Registration Fees
There is no registration fee. There are no registration charges. Anyone can join the webinar free of cost.
E-certificate Fees
The E-certificate Fees is Rs 100/-.
If you want to claim an e-certificate of participation then you have to pay nominal charges, i.e., 100 Rupees only. You have to upload a screen-shot of payment while filling up the registration form. E-certificate of participation will be emailed within 48 hours after the end of the Webinar Session.
Note: E-certificate fee is not refundable at any cost unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. E-certificate will be given only if you join the session and mark your attendance as per the norms of attendance mentioned in this notification. If you pay the e-certificate fee but do not mark your attendance or do not join the webinar session even in that case fee is not refundable and no e-certificate will be given.
