About NMCC

The 11th School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru National Moot Court Competition (Virtual) is the flagship event of the Moot Court Society of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru and is scheduled to be held from 5th to 8th November, 2020 virtually. The previous versions of the NMCC have hosted various legal luminaries including Justice Lavu Nageswara Rao, Supreme Court of India, Ram Jethmalani, Sr. Advocate, Supreme Court of India, and Indira Jaising, Sr. Advocate, Supreme Court of India. NMCC 2020 shall strive to carry forward the same legacy in providing a holistic experience of the mooting culture in the virtual format.

Eligibility

All law colleges/institutions/ universities across the country recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to take part in the Competition. All participants must be currently pursuing their Bachelor’s degree in Law, i.e., either 3-year or 5-year courses.

Registration

The participation in the 11th National Moot Court Competition is restricted to 40 teams only on a first-come basis.

The teams are requested to provisionally register by sending a mail through their respective Official College Email ID or Other Official IDs handled by recognized student bodies to the Moot Court Society at [email protected].

Kindly note that only one team per College/Institution/University shall be permitted to take part in the Competition. The team must consist of 3 members, (2 speakers and 1 Researcher).The last date for provisional registration shall be 5th October 2020. The main invite shall be made available to teams shortly.
