Lucknow University Moot Court Association is organizing 1st Dr. Avatar Singh National Article Writing Competition on the occasion of Constitution Day (National Law Day), i.e., 26th November 2020.

About the University

The University of Lucknow or Lucknow University is a government-owned Indian research university based in Lucknow. Founded in 1867, the University of Lucknow is one of India’s oldest government-owned institutions of higher education. The Lucknow University, incidentally, began its journey as a small school in the Canning high school in 1864.

After 57 years, this school, located in the palace Amin-ud-Daulah, Aminabad, transformed into a university. The Lucknow University, considered to be the nation’s pride and one of the most significant educational institutions, is celebrating this year as its centenary year.

Prize

The competition provides the participants with an opportunity to win cash prizes worth Rs. 2100/-.

Eligibility

Students pursuing any recognized course from any recognized college/University in India are eligible to participate.

Registration Details

The entry fee is Rs 60/- (for both single-author & co-authorship).
